Dr. Aumann is a licensed clinical psychologist and licensed clinical professional counselor. She earned her doctorate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2008. She has many years experience working as a therapist. Currently, she provides group and individual psychotherapy in a facility that serves adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Dr. Aumann displays compassion and dedication to her clients and has a deep understanding of the many unique challenges associated with serious mental health disorders. She also works in a more traditional private practice setting and is experienced treating adults with depression, anxiety, and relational issues. Additionally, Dr. Aumann conducts court ordered psychological evaluations on a part time basis.

Dr. Samantha Fox earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Adler University.  Dr. Fox has worked in a variety of mental health settings including a forensic residential facility, community mental health center, inpatient and partial psychiatric hospital, and therapeutic day schools for individuals with behavioral, developmental, and emotional disorders.  Through these placements, Dr. Fox treated an array of children, adolescents, and adults with a broad range of mental health disorders, social issues, and developmental disabilities.  This led to her clinical interest in treating adolescents, young adults, and adults with various mood, anxiety, relationship, and other social issues.  Dr. Fox’s experiences also helped shape her therapy approach which emphasizes the importance of the relationship between the client and therapist as well as the creation of a safe, nonjudgmental environment.  Dr. Fox believes that insight into one’s life can aid in the process of change, managing mental illness, and the ability to utilize coping strategies to improve relationships and overall quality of life.  Moreover, she tailors treatment to the individual by considering the individual’s ability level, personal goals, and cultural values.

Carolyn is a seasoned, licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about providing treatment to those wishing to improve their lives through self exploration.  Carolyn has expertise treating clients ranging in age from emerging adults to seniors. She excels working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Carolyn is also experienced working with clients struggling with grief and loss.  In addition, she has helped many individuals who are diagnosed with serious mental illnesses.  Carolyn has great understanding and compassion for clients in the “sandwich generation” helping them to find balance managing care for aging parents, raising children, and self care.  Further, Carolyn has a passion for animals and lends her therapeutic skills to counseling those who are experiencing grief associated with pet loss. Carolyn earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Syracuse University in 1997 and went on to complete a master’s degree in social work from Loyola University Chicago in 2000. She spent the early portion of her career working with adolescents in residential treatment and spent many years working directly in nursing homes and senior living communities.  Carolyn has worked in private practice settings since 2003, using a psychodynamic approach with the goal of helping her clients feel safe and supported while learning new strategies to manage difficult emotional experiences and life events.

Lindsay graduated in 2006 from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in teaching and then went on to earn her master’s degree in school counseling through Northern Illinois University. After working in a Chicago suburban high school for several years as a guidance counselor, Lindsay realized her passion for working with clients lied outside of the schools, and she then transitioned to working in the community as a crisis therapist. In her practice, Lindsay enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults and often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with solution-focused interventions. Lindsay has years of experience in helping individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, maladaptive behaviors, and behavior and conduct disorders. Due to her background in teaching and school counseling, Lindsay easily communicates with schools and their supportive staff, and can also offer clients assistance in communicating with their school, if requested. Stephanie has been helping children, adolescents, adults and their families adapt, heal, and grow for the past 10 years. Graduating from Miami University in 2003 with a degree in psychology, she went on to pursue her master’s degree in social work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since graduating with her MSW in 2005, she has worked in multiple mental health settings, including inpatient psychiatric units, community mental health agencies, and private practice. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and incorporates these modalities into a person-centered approach with her clients. Stephanie has an extensive background working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced depression, anger, anxiety, family conflict, and behavior disorders. She is most passionate about treating adolescents who suffer from depression and anxiety, who often engage in self-destructive behaviors. In her practice, she is committed to providing a supportive environment that promotes reflection and change.   Stephanie also provides  DBT and CBT group therapy for adolescents (14-18 years old).
